What we collect here
Project briefs you submit through this site (name, company, email, phone, project details, budget) and instant estimates you choose to save with an email address. Both are stored in this site's own database, hosted in South Africa, and both are used for one thing: replying to you and quoting your project.
Where it goes
Nowhere, unless it's to you. Briefs are emailed to the studio inbox and stored in the studio database; the group parent (Handy Services) can view division records through its oversight console. No advertising trackers, no analytics sharing, no third-party requests — fonts and scripts are served from this domain. Data does not leave South Africa.
How long we keep it
Briefs that don't become clients: 24 months from last activity, then deleted or anonymised. Client project records: 5 years, because tax law requires it. Consent records for cookies: 12 months.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawing consent — all yours under POPIA. Email privacy@handyservices.co.za and we acknowledge within 2 working days and respond within the statutory 30. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
Security
The studio backend is gated behind a secret URL with brute-force lockout, supports two-factor authentication, keeps every administrative action in an audit trail, and stores credentials above the web root. Projects you brief are treated as your confidential information — we don't share details of who we're working with unless you've given permission (see the project terms portfolio clause, which you can opt out of in writing).
